Default Cabelas Stowaway 6wt, 5 pieces

I received this rod recently and I didn't have time to try it yet. Any opinion here about this weapon?
    Thank you

    Hi Waterfox,

I have the same rod as my "heavy". I
very much like the feel of it and enjoy
casting it. I use it for light saltwater
and bass. I have also caught two carp over 40 pounds on it. It's a keeper.*G* Warm regards, Jim

I have one. It is a good value for the money and an OK rod, just not my favorite as it feels a little top heavy to me. Maybe I just need to balance it out with a heavier reel.

I've got 2 older ones in the 7 piece model. One for each car and they are my favorites.

It's a real nice rod for the monay. Mine is an 8'6" for a 5 weight though.
