    Default Question for Rick Zieger

    Hi Rick;

    What rod/line/leader setup do you typically use when your fishing your boa yarn and furrled mohair leech patterns on lakes and ponds??

    Thanks in advance;

    Usually a 5 to 7 foot furled leader with about 3 to 4 feet of leader material.
    Mosty of the time with a floating line.

    Rick,

    Perfect set-up in my opinion. Just curious--what is your furled leader made from? Mono, Fluorocarbon, thread??? What pound test was the material?

    Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
