Thread: In need of a Bottom Line Fishing Buddy 2255 manual

Default In need of a Bottom Line Fishing Buddy 2255 manual

Friend of mine called me today for help. A mutual friend gave him a Fishing Buddy 2255 fish finder with no manual. My friend not familiar with fish finders. Needs to learn how to utilize it.

Man don't EVEN try to find the manual on the internet! Unbelievable quantity of links claiming to have the manual, lot's of links to a "free pdf download"...but when you go there "no match or document found"

Gawd I didn't realize how many people would use phishing to get people reeled in.

Anyway, it would be neat if someone could copy their manual, or mail it to me and I do the copying and mail it back.

It would be a nice gesture to help my friend out with a copy of the manual for this fish finder.

    Jim

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

Have a Fishin Buddy 2, but have to find the owners manual. Wasn't with the fish finder in the pocket it's usually kept in & don't know where it is ?........... Wasn't with the freshwater gear, had placed it back in the saltwater boat bag with the fishing maps because there's a mount on the trolling motor shaft. Different model # 013021. About 8 full pages to scan for email since it's a 5 1/2" X8 1/2" pamphlet........ Should have mentioned that the obvious difference between the 2 is that the $305 #2255 has more pixels than my $185 sidefinder.

sagefisher, beware of sites like that. they don't really have what your looking for. They are called doorway pages. They actually create the page with your search terms and try to get you to click on advertiser links.

I did a google search and easily found an actual pdf manual just like the one I have. It's 18 pages and 318 K in file size:

Other than the 160 X 80 dot matrix & compass on the #2255 compared to a 100 X 65 dot matrix on a 3.3" X 2.5" graphics viewing area with no compass, not many other differences on the #013021.

    Hi Jim,

As luck would have it, I own two 2255's and have manuals for each. But it seems that I'm a day or two late on this one. Between FAOL and the Arizona board, it looks like you've already got it under control.

    All the best, Dave
