When you arise in the morning, think of what a
precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think,
    to enjoy, to love.

"Alive". Keeping in mind your post, I'm 68 yo and calculate, Lord willing, I have about 3650 reasonably productive days left. When calculated in days, I do appreciate the "precious privilege".

I went fishing early enough yesterday to watch the sun come up. I didn't bring a camera but the morning's first light is etched into my memory. I spent most of the morning marveling at the creation and doing little fishing. After the week I have just experienced Marcus's words are more than fitting.
