    Default Color explosion!

Ever seen that show on HGTV called color Splash with David Bromstad? Well this is "Color Explosion with Steve Clark" lol

This is by far the "brightest" rod I have done for someone. It's for a guy that is giving it to his girlfriend and she is a big fan of a dress designer that uses very bright and vibrant colors like pinks/lime greens/yellow and such. So he wanted the theme of the rod to match.

Blank is 8'6" 7/8wt 4pc Pink with an acrylic insert. BUL5 hardware, double foo guides, a grip with green dyed wood ends to match the wraps. Wraps are a bright almost lime green with neon yellow trim bands and a custom turned small butt with a ring of green burl cork and yellow accents.

If she catches fish with that, it will certainly disprove the "bright stuff scare fish" theories.

    Where are my sunglasses?

Too late! Rod building is shot for the day. I think I have been rendered color blind.

YEOWZA!!! I thought the pink one I built was "eye popping" ... but it's really bland compared to yours!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Makes me have bizarre visions of Pepto Bismol.
You did a great job fixing up the client with exactly what was wanted!

I recall the MTV series Pimp My Ride. That one has to move over for PIMP MY ROD!
