Really? What would the backup plan be for typical Ohio weather messing things up, or the run not starting until late Nov. or Dec.? Any thought to something on the Mohican where folks could camp or rent housekeeping cabins? You've got fishing above and below the dam, and the fish are always there. Just askin'...

Thankfully, I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger with my business. I fished today for a little over an hour for the first time since the 2010 MIFI, which gives you an idea of how serious the matter has been. Steelhead fishing just never happened for me over the Winter. I'm pumped about spending a week with you and the rest of our band of elite fly fishers at the 2011 MIFI. I'm stock piling the booze...just in case we need it for snake bites and other medicinal purposes.

Yes, both are good reasons to bring out the medications. Sunrise/sunset and hourly changes to the clock (24 more reasons) are additional reasons for medicating. RAIN is probably the primary reason for dragging out the old goatskin.
