Was wondering if anybody had Korker wading boots with the interchangeable sole system and what the pros/cons or likes/dislikes of them were??

Have them and they work great but unless I am hiking in a ways {read couple miles} I do not find I switch out of the felt soles.
I wear Korkers and like them very much. They are particularly nice if you do alot of hiking to that backcountry "honey hole". I can swap out the felt for the rubber sole in under a minute and save wear and tear on the felt.
The only complaint I have, although minor, is knocking off any "junk" gathered on my boots. If I move from place to place in my vehicle I like to bang my feet together before I get in, ala Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. I have to be careful when doing his as I have knocked the soles out of place.
Overall, I am more than satisfied with these boots.

IMO the concept is great but function has some issues.
I have been using the boots for a number of years. I like the boots with the exception of the soles coming out after so many days of use of the boots.
My left sole always comes out and I have decided to quit using them.
It makes me feel bad though because the people at Korkers are really nice folks.

Have had mine for 3 years.
Love 'em!
No problems.
Just don't store them wet with
the inserts/soles on them.
Highly recommended.

I have a pair and never swapped the soles. Also I have had the sole come loose a few times. Not cool. This happened to me last Sunday getting in to the boat while loading onto the trailer. Tripped on the loose sole and went head over tea kettle into the boat. I wasn't hurt but the possibility of injury was pretty high. Those boots are now retired and I have just returned form the fly shop with a pair of boots that have permanently attached felt.
