    Default Sage TXL 6'3" 3wt

This is one I just finished up tonight and is ready in time for the new owner to put it to use for the new season. Blank is a Sage TXL 6'3" 3wt 3pc. The reel seat (customer supplied) but it was turned by our very own Kevin (kbproctor) from here. Grip is a rev half wells that I did out of all dark mic cork then with rubberized ends and some thin black accents separating the two types of cork from each other.

Wraps are medium brown (CP'ed) with a single turn of silver metallic trim to add a touch of class to them. Guides are all titanium finish single foot guides.

Personally, I think the reel seat makes the rod.

    I like that grip, too.

Thats sweet. May I ask what does a rod like that cost, if you build and what kind of reel would you put on and approximate cost? Thinking this could be my next rod for for small streams in S.W.Wisconsin. Ball park figures are o.k. Thanks kindly.

A Michigan rod with a built in troll, that's cool. Beautiful job as usual.
