Loss of a Great Outdoor Writer

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but
Charlie Waterman recently passed away.Along with Gene Hill we have had to say goodbye to two great writers in recent times and I and I'm sure a great many others treasure thier legacy in thier literary works.

I knew Charlie, he lived only 20 miles from me and attended some of our gatherings. What a loss...I didn't know Gene. Too many good people are leaving, but their spirits will stay with us, and we are all better folks because of them.

I had no idea that Charlie Waterman had passed away. I grew up reading his stuff and was a big fan... sad to hear indeed.
