    Default First decent bass..

Pulled in from Florida at 1:10 p.m. Monday. Wife said she was going to throw in a load of laundry and take a nap. I had a better idea. At 2:26 I threw a fly into a farm pond and at 2:36 I had this one on the bank.

20" and shoulders. Have caught some good numbers since, but this one is leading the pack.

Yep - that's decent. On second thought, that seems like an understatement.
    The fish are always right.

lol.. I'd go for the seven - but - a 20" fish, in good shape, here will weigh right at 5.. + or - depending on the season.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

Enjoyed the banter about the weight. Thanks. Here is a link to a "weight" chart for bass which would put Hidehunter's catch at about 4.7 lbs.
