Nice yak but very heavy tho. Will need a trailer to keep from wrecking yourself.
Got to side with Flyfish Dog about the weight.
A heavy yak or canoe becomes a rarely used yak or canoe. Car top it a couple of times and you start to cringe just thinking about going fishing in it.
I use a trailor myself because I have heavy boats and light boats and that does help.
I'll give a very subjective opinion; for me, 60lbs is max on a solo boat. That being said, everyone is different.
Good luck and hope it works out whatever boat you end up with.
someday when I can afford and store it..(and have use of at will) I will have one.. got a Hobie outback thats already been in storage for nearly three years now already... apartment life sucks!!! all i'm sayin.....
Wish ya great fishing,Bill
I would go with one of the lighter hobies if you want the mirage drive. You could also look at the Native Ultimate Propel models. The only reason to get a kayak as heavy as the proangler is if you want to land your helicopter on the fantail.

Don't have one, but if you've got a trailer and want to stand anywhere on the PA and cast, spend the money. Not my cup of tea tho. Not sure the size of the streams you could take it on. Draws a fair bit of water.
