I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim
Incredible!!!! Brought tears to my eyes too.

Thank you for the many kind words. I only hope Tom likes it as well as you folks do.
The whole thing grew out of a comment Tom made to my wife when she asked him what he was going to do upon retirement. He said that he had always wanted to learn to fly fish. This will be his first fly rod and I am hoping to teach him all the wrong things to do.

Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some person ever reads.
Kevin,
That is a wonderful gesture! Your brother sounds like someone who would appreciate the significance and the thought that went into the rod, by yourself, and a host of his fellow military compatriots! Beautiful job on the Ribbons! You should be proud of that rod as you are of your brother. Hope you get to see him catch his first fish on it - that would be cool!
Best regards, Dave S.
A wonderful tribute to your brother, hope he understands the labor of love.
Two wonderful gifts, a special rod and part of your heart. Made my day.
