Good game. I believe that the better team won, but it could certainly have gone the other way. Two good teams. Loved the bald eagle making a pass over the crowd and the flag on the field at the beginning.
They're just fish, right? Right?
Great game, didn't go my way but I couldn't have asked for a better game.
The national championship game should always be that close.
Now lets get rid of the bcs and get a playoff system.

ELHead, I don't ever remember pulling for Auburn as much as I did last night. As a matter of fact I rarely pull for Auburn period, except when you are playing out of conference, you're family after all. The Ducks did not see the best of Cam Newton last night, having watched him for several games he was slowed considerably. They did see the best of your defense however.
Great game, I will give Coach Kelly credit for doing whatever it required to win the game. Definitely keeps you on your toes. Man I hope those socks don't catch on, whatever happen to white athletic socks. (Yes I know I'm a grouchy old f*rt). Chizik is no slouch either.

I hate to see a run away in any bowl game. Them Ducks weren't no slouches, This wasn't an easy one for them. As you said though Jesse Cam has played better. I'm just a so-so fan having gone to AU over a hundred years ago for a short while, ( back in Shug days) . But I cant help show my pride in a year like this one. I know it was over a hundred years ago because I have been married more than a hundred an I sent to Auburn before that.

That's five out of the last five BCS crystal footballs heading home with SEC teams...
Congrats War Eagles
I thought I would get a little static from the "SEC has a championship" comment but your statement, which is fact, is hard to argue with.
I understand "The Mad Hatter" decided to stay in Baton Rouge rather than relocated to the Univ. of Michigan. He probably flew up there and didn't have a topcoat anymore. If they had really wanted him they would have flown down to Baton Rouge rather than remind him how cold it gets up there. I checked the high temp forcast next 5 days 25 deg in Ann Arbor; 63 deg. Baton Rouge.
I was glad to hear that, didn't want LSU after Mullen, it's tough being a poor school in the SEC.

Well People;
I for one expected a little more excitement, and more scoring, considering the offenses BOTH teams have. I really feel that the ....lay-off.... is getting too long.
Thirty- five Bowl games is a lot of waiting for a Championship Game. I do realize the compensation that the schools receive ( and deserve ), but I think it is starting to get out of hand.
I personally enjoy watching football almost everynight, BUT !!
