Default Fly Fishing and the Grateful Dead

Does fly fishing go hand in hand with a love of the Grateful Dead? I've noticed over the years a fair number of Dead stickers on vehicles of fly fishers, and I see references to them in posts and signatures. I'm no Dead Head, but I really enjoy them a lot. So what say ye on the Grateful Dead: Yea or Nay?

    I say Yea!

(By the way, there is no "wrong" answer...)

30 to 40 years ago I was into the Dead along with many other things. Not so much now.

Is it really relevant or does it matter in some way?

Not a big Grateful Dead fan. Couple of songs I liked ok. I did like Jerry Garcia a lot when he delved into bluegrass. Check out "Old and in the Way".
Most folks I've had a conversation with about the Dead said you had to be into halluciogenics to really enjoy them.
    Was never there.

When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.

Well, being the "Sound Off" forum, does it have to be? If it doesn't belong, I have no problem with a Mod deleting it.

It's just something I've noticed over the years. I can assure you that hallucinogenics are not needed to enjoy them, but I can imagine the appeal.

Dang, Steve! I'd remember that truck of yours if I saw that, sticker or no sticker. I love that truck, just from the photos on here.
