Rocketfish
I use 3 different color combinations. Natural + White, Chartreuse + White, Blue + White.
My best producer is the natural and I try to use the lightest color of tan in the tail and will sometimes top the tan with a darker brown from the same tail using 3 colors.
Oh and I use deer hair and never a synthetic.
Thanks Old Man GO IRISH!
I've had real good luck with smaller ones (#6-10) tied using either red fox (Foxee Clouser) or coyote tail with rootbeer Crystal Flash; trout may take them for crayfish.

Scott
I like natural /white , olive / white in size 6 to 10
Also only bucktail.

Working Trout Bum
Olive/white, burnt orange/tan, and chart./white. I try to keep them on the smallish side.
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
i tie little brook , brown, and rainbow clousers on a size 6 hook, and have had real good luck on the brook and brown, but not on the rainbow
Any color, as long as it's all black!
PS: What hook style or # do you guys prefer?
