at the time there were 19 posts on furled leaders

now we get 3-4 posts on tenkara and all of a sudden it deserved a new forum category?? why?

Can we also get a forum on spin fishing with a casting float using flies as bait? After all, since the definition seems to have been broadened, that too IS 'fly fishing'.

.... having partly explained the Tenkara thing above,

I thought I should mention that I do recall a previous

request for a Forum on furling,

and being disappointed that one was not started.

I also would like to see a Forum specifically devoted to furling.

I think one of the problems with having such a Forum

is that too many people use the same system

and use a language that is only readily decipherable

to those using that system.

Maybe if there was a commitment by all to use simple, clear language

for all discussions, Deanna would be more willing to establish

a Forum devoted to furling.

The 'Equipment' category would be the perfect place for "Lines & Leaders" yes?

Maybe one for "Rods & Reels" (store bought etc.)

After all the there is only ONE forum under 'Equipment' and that's "Rod Building: Cane and Graphite". Which brings up another forum change request and that's "Why is it 'Cane and Graphite' and not just 'Rob Building' since more of the builders here dabble in fiberglass than they do bamboo?

I'd love to see a forum for furled leaders. I've been extremely unsuccessful at my attempts to make a furled leader. I'm just bull headed enough though, that the more of them I mess up, the more I want to try.
