I agree with Bob I have a 10 "Streamflex 3 wt. Their marketed for Euro nymphing fine tippet. I like for wets and soft hackles Im completely satisfied.
The new rod on the market that's making a lot of noise is the Echo Shadow---http://www.rajeffsports.com/echo_pe.php---I have heard some very good things about the technology and their service .

I recently bought a Platinum XD 9' 9wt to use for an upcoming trip to Florida this winter and for fishing for Northern Pike. I bought it based on a recommendation from a guy I know who guides for Pike in the warm months and in the salt during the winter. All I can say is that I like the way it casts. I had thought I would get a TFO Ticr X but this rod is much lighter which was a big concern. I think I made the right choice.

I was thinking about checking out their 10' or 10'6" 3wt. I have one of their DECHO speys and it's a very nice rod. I've never used the streamflex but i've heard their nice rods.Echo Shadow---http://www.rajeffsports.com/echo_pe.php---
