This one is built on a full flex 2wt 606 blank (dark brown). Has Maple seat with bluegill image on the seat, nickle silver hardware, Hopkins&Hollaway stripper, SF guides, Garnet wraps with silver trim and custom grip with exotic corks.

Am I seeing a ring type hook keeper on this rod. I think the ring type adds a little more style/class to the rod. I have added a very small split ring onto the standard "U" shaped hook keeper on some of my rods. Have an older Orvis 9'3" Advantage Plus for 7wt that I re-wrapped in the early 90s. I put a ring type keeper on it. Don't remember if the rod even had a keeper on it originally?

Hi Dave. It's actually a hook keeper I made myself. It's not a ring but I took some strap wire from a ring style keeper and I shaped it into a half circle rather than a U shape just to add something different to it.
