Default I must brag on my grandson

My 15 year old grandson, a sophomore in high school was invited by a university in Missouri to study there for the next two years. He'll earn his high school diploma plus an associates degree in mathematics while he's there.

A nerd he is not. He's a good looking boy with a great personality.

I'm so proud of him I could bust. He's the kid I never had.

ALL grandfathers should brag about their grandkids. Shame on those who don't. In YOUR case, you have a SPECIAL reason. Mine are simply handsome or beautiful ( take after grandma and grandpa) . Smart is yet to be determined ( they're still young).
In any case, looks like you have a wonderful grandson that will make the entire clan proud. I wish him success in his pursuits..

If you didn't brag on a grandson like that wouldn't they take your grand dad licenses away. Congrats to your grandson, his mom and dad and his mom and dad's moms and dads. As my children have not yet accumulated any in laws for me I don't have grandchildren but all of my friends assure me grand children are just that.

The drive within him is his greatest asset, he's a self motivated overachieving genius. Second best is never good enough for him and he's been that-a-way his entire life. I have such high hopes for him. I pray I live long enough to realize what he becomes. I'm thankful we have a system in place in this country to provide for young people with such potential and that he has been recognized by those who matter.
He lives in a small rural town in the Ozarks. There are about 400 kids attending his school (K-12). I don't know how many ppl they invite to the program but it can't be many from the entire state. Yet they found him. Quite an achievement I would say.
