8'6" 5wt Rainshadow

[Midwest Custom Fly Rods]

This one is on a Rainshadow 865-2 blank (matte clear finish) Real seat is Snake wood with Nickle Silver BUL5 hardware. Grip is simple and clean and rev half wells. Wraps are Cobalt blue (no CP) with Med brown trim. Since the owner wanted to keep this rod somewhat subtle yet custom looking I decided to add a matching brown speckled Agate stripper from "Golden Witch" so that the Agate matches the trim color. And frame his name with some fanned out Jungle Cock feather as well.
