I had an hour and a half between jobs today so i got in a little fishing. The wind was a little up but not too bad. I was wondering how the fishing would be because we have not had rain in about three weeks plus the temps have been all over the map. Well the fish were biting and hitting poppers hard. The prefered white one retrieved fast. It was alot of fun seeing them go after them!

White popper retrived quickly...humm. Sounds like fall shad crashing season....gotta get out this weekend!

Over here in the ATL folks make remarks aout Mississippi from time to time. They simply do not know the joys of a MS farm pond. That brings back good memories.

I just got back from about an hour and a half of shore fishing on Lake St Clair and it was HORRIBLE!!!...weeds, floating weeds, wind! and one blue gill. Ill take those bass anyday!
