    Here are the recipes from Robert's book.

    Zulus
    Black Zulu

    Hook: 8-14
    Tail: Red wool or ibis.
    Body: Black wool or seals fur with
    a palmered black cock hackle.
    Rib: Fine flat silver tinsel.
    Head Hackle(optional): Black cock or hen.

    Blue Zulu
    As above except for a blue hackle at shoulder.

    Silver Zulu
    As for Black Zulu except for a silver tinsel body.

    Gold Zulu
    Tail: Red wool or ibis.
    Body: Bronze peacock herl or flat gold tinsel,
    with a palmered coch-y-bonddhu hackle.
    Rib: Fine flat gold tinsel.

    Nah, please don't stop posting...interesting patterns, well researched posts and excellent pictures. Nothing wrong with any of that.

    Similar debates ioften occur amonst chefs when it comes to what constitutes a certain recipe or technique...I find it very amusing to watch the hairs being split.
