    Default Hey everyone

    Whats up...

Its been a long time since Ive been around..
Still tying flies and just having fun..

I figured Id break the ice again this year. Past few years fishing has been a little tough with 3 years of straight floods. But this year is really looking up!

Night fishing is my favorite thing.. we are seeing some really AWESOME fish this year...
27" inch rainbows... 26" inch browns..
and even catching a few walleyes smallies still... (I believe these came over the dam during the floods)

So if anyone is planning a fall trip to the ozarks ( Branson, Missouri)... Lake Taneycomo is a MUST!

I went down for 18months with major back problems ... I couldnt even stand to fish... couldnt sit to tye flies...

After a few doctors poking on me and some test they found that with all those big a$$ fish that I picked up (sorry had too!LOL) I slipped a disk in my back..
Its was slipped about 4-5mm... and right up against the nerves...
Leaving my right leg numb were it was almost impossible to stand on it..
after about 6month of PT.. it "POPPED" and It really dont hurt as bad
Id say im back to were it was before... other the about a extra 40lbs that just appeared .. I guess I was doing a lot of walking... need to start again .

Good to see you back! Hopefully this means we'll be seeing more pictures of big fish taken when it's too dark to scan the photos for reference points, eh?
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.

Welcome back Night Angler1. I totally feel your pain. I had/have a similar problem. L4 and L5 on me. That's great that it popped back in. When mine popped it was the disc blowing out. OUCH!
