Looks great to me stage 1 and i'm not much of a tyer...strictly utility so i can't offer advice to make something good look any better.

Looks awesome! The head especially looks nice. What's the body made of? If that's floss, try laying down a perfectly smooth and even thread base with an unbonded thread like UTC 70, and making sure that the floss is completely untwisted as you wind it onto the hook. It'll make for an extremely smooth body.

Thamks for the feedback folks and as for the body it is floss and that tip will get utilized on the batch of 12 I am tying for fall salmon fishing cold. I also was doing some reading on Laquered Bodies
