Thanks, Vocelli. I've spent some time there and wasn't at all surprised that there is a variety of fly fishing. My time in South Africa was filled with very many surprises, though. It was much different than I expected in so many regards.

If you ever get a chance to travel like that, I highly recommend South Africa as a tourist destination. But, wow, is that a long flight!

I usually start fishing in one state and end in another.

I start in a state of agitation and anticipation and end in the state of calmness and bliss.

Do not come to Alaska.... to many salmon & large trout everywhere along with massive pike and peace and solitued.

Personaly I think Washington would be a good pic, it has two climates. One is perfect for trout, perch, rockfish, salmon, many more. The other is dry and perfect for bluegill, bass, pike, and carp. I hope that helped.
