I've only fished a furled leader one day and I used a Trilene knot to go from the furled leader loop to the tippet ...worked fine ...but what do you all use? Loop to loop seems like it would be a little more bulky????

Loop to Loop
Loop to Loop at the butt end and Loop to Loop at the tippet end.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
hi
I strongly suggest the [url=http://www.virtualflybox.com/articles/article.php?id=6:2d23a]Shorb Loop[/url:2d23a]. Properly placed, the loop to loop is not at all bulky in my experience.

Ducksterman, since you seem to already have a loop in your leader, I would suggest a perfection loop on your tippet. It has always worked well for me.

Excus my spelling and gramma, I hooked Mondays and Fridays so I could Hunt or fish.
Excuse my spelling and grammar, I hooked Mondays and Fridays to either fish or hunt.
I purchased a Blue Sky furled tapered leader. They recommend a short (6-8")length of tippet material (3X) tied on to the loop with an improved clinch knot. Your regular tippet then gets tied on to this.
Haven't had any problems with this set up.
