    Default new 5 weight

I just finished this rod. I made it for Don, a fishing buddy. I test cast it, a true 5 weight, casts nice and smooth. Rainshadow RX7 9' 5wt, BUL rosewood reelseat, Lamar burnt and burl cork with natural cork (still trying to use up all my natural cork), Forecast guides, Gudebrod garnet thread with two turns silver metallic, two coats chromaseal CP, two coats Threadmaster epoxy.

I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

Thanks, guys. This is pretty much a copy of my own rod, a RX8+ 4 weight that I upline with a wf5f line. I like the garnet on the black blanks, so I persuaded Don to get it, too.
