Long cotton pants for the nettle, posion ivy and brairs. Vietnam jungle boots with duck tape to keep the gravel and rocks out. Beach towels and dry clothes with I get back to the truck.

I prefer to wet wade if at all possible. Of course, here in Texas wet wading is available the vast majority of the year. I wear my wading boots with Simms Guard Socks.

Yes, I wet wade the driftless area spring creeks. By the time the tricos start hatching, they are warm enough to wet wade.

I spend most of the year in waders but around the 4th of July I hang them up for the summer. I just picked up a pair of low-cut neoprene socks to wear with my Korkers wading shoes in hopes that I can stand the water temperature in the mountain streams.

I only fish one spring creek, and though at times i have decided to wade wet, i spend a lot of time in waist or chest deep water so it gets uncomfortable.

    You lucky b...
In my part of the world you have to make the desicion if you want to wet wade or be able to have children.
I wade all year in breathable waders, some also use neophrene in spring and autumn.

I would happily wear waders and fish where you fish!

Yeah, that's where I got in the poison ivy or sumac or whatever. A creek in the Readstown area.
