I don't think so, our Preston is a writer who writes for Amato Publications.
Actually, the Preston Singletary, who has the exhibition at the Museum Of Glass, is the son of the Preston Singletary, who is the writer for Amato Publications, and I can tell you with absolute certainty, that the senior Preston Singletary is justifiably and enormously proud of his son's artistic accomplishment. Isn't that right, Preston?

Yep, that's my boy. In May he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts by Puget Sound University (I asked him if that meant I had to call him "Doctor" now). As I'm sure you can imagine, I'm very proud of his accomplishments. His career as a glass artist was going along quite nicely when he began incorporating Northwest Coast tribal themes to his work (he is 1/4 Tlingit on his mother's side); since that time his reputation in the field (and the value of his work) has increased dramatically.
Congratulations Preston, you're entitled to be proud dad!
Hugs,
