    Default It's been a long time

    Hiya guys. It's been a long time since I have been on the boards. WOW!! Has it changed. That will take some getting used to.

    Between working 70 hrs a week, raising two kids and two dogs, and my own heart and spine issues, there has just been NO time.

    We moved back to Colorado and there was NOT a fishing spot anywhere near us out in the middle of nowhere. We recently moved to a town with a small fishing pond and the South Platte 5 miles away. We have visited our local pond almost every night and I finally broke out the flyrod.

    My daughter also broke out her flyrod and caught her first fish on it tonight. It's just a small trout along with a hundred or so bluegill. She also broke out her fly tying kit and is trying to tie flies now.

    Anyway, so many changes...but the biggest one was seeing JC had passed away. My late, but heartfelt condolences for your loss LF.

    Welcome back, Teri. One small trout and a hundred or so gills make for a very nice trip to the pond.
