Default What 3 flies are must haves for saltwater bay fishing?

I am three days away from a vacation to Fort Morgan, AL, and my 8 wt TFO should be getting to me tomorrow. I have some clouser minnows tied, but what else is a must have for fishing the bays?

    Thanks for the help.

The 4 basic flies for the harbor are a bendback, clouser, deceiver & seaducer. In addition where you are going to be fishing, just as here: there may be more specific patterns as crab & spoon flies, gurglers, poppers, or EP baitfish imitations & shrimp patterns that might be a good addition depending on the species you're targetting.

    I'd go with
    clousers
    poppers
    deciever
all tied in several sizes, and maybe a few differenct colors.

Might try the late Al Campbell's SHWAPF it's found here: http://www.flyanglersonline.com/flyt...ners/part9.php
Al did a version of it for a trip to Belieze called the
Shrimpf and it was VERY successful, then we took it to the Bahamas and it worked there too. In fact the guides begged us to leave what we had with them.....

Dupre' Spoon flies are good to have in your box as are small foam poppers and bend back / rattle rousers.

    Good luck, Chris
