In defense of my alma mater, whose logo is on the baseball cap, this is a fairly popular photo down south here and I have seen the same photo with Univ. Alabama and a few other logos on it. I am pretty sure this gentleman is not one of our engineering grads, that said I have known people who were fishing out of craft not so different from this back in the 80's in north Mississippi. It is a fine example of redneck engineering.

I had a float, I sold it because I never used it. I got me this and still haven't had a chance to dump it in the water. Maybe one day I'll be able to try it out and then I'll post the results.

Here is my kayak. It is a 9' Wilderness Systems Victory Bravo, modified for fishing.

I will take pictures of my yakanoe tomorrow. It is a Mad River Adventure 14, 14' boat. It has the best features of kayaks, and canoes combined in one boat. I love it!
