    NICE! I'm going to a small lake this afternoon to fly fish it for the first time. Just started going there this winter because they have a heated dock to verical jig for crappie. Sounds like they have tons of crappie and big gills... We'll see if we can find a few.

    Just curious: Is that a sauger or a saugeye?

    I think it's a saugeye, but I could be wrong.

    If it were over 18", I know for dang sure what I would call it!

    Just got back from an awesome night of fishing! 2 new species for me and a ton of hand-size + bluegills. Pics to come...
