I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

Wes very good looking flies, hope all goes well with the recovery of the rest of your stuff... I like that fly in the top left corner, I tye one like it using red floss tag, very fine chenille body, peacock thorax, partridge, and black thread on a 12 hook. I tied it at first to use for warm water and found it to work best for browns...
"Because by the Grace of God I can, be on a beautiful mountain stream with a friend , have the water boil from a 12" Native Brookie taking a self tyed dry,and feel it on the end of my cane... It don't get no better than that..."
@grubb..if i remember that body is tanned deer strip. the butt is floss, fluor. red, green, orange, pink.
@quill gordon...that's 'zactly what i plan to do. however the house remodel comes first, maybe finish in like 2 or 3 months.
thanks to both y'all for the compliments

Not the last flies , just the most recent ones. I'm sure that with your knowledge of tying you will find a way to produce good flies despite whatever physical problems you have to work around.
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.
Like already stated....not the last flies....the most recent flies. Looking forward to seeing the "next" flies.
Wes, those are a very nice assortment of flies. I think starting back would be like riding a bike, once you've done it , you don't forget how. There may be small techniques that you have forgotten but will remember once you get to them. Glad you are back at the "VICE", I mean vise.

What size is that? Lint ?
Thanks Old Man GO IRISH!
i think lint is about right. 20, 22, and the baetis parvus may be 24.

Wes, I'll let you know when the bluegills take up residence in the creek at Sedgwick County Park and we'll go catch some.
