    Default Sage TXL?

Anyone try the new TXL yet? I'm interested in the 7' 10" 3 or 4 weight. Wiggled one in the fly shop, have yet to cast one.

I have casted one at a church friends fly shop .Liked it so much that I now have a 7 foot 10 inch 4 weight blank and I am now waiting for my reel seat and cork to show up from REC.

    speyaddict,

I won one (a 00wt) right here on FAOL in the fall of 2004. You can read my review by clicking the link below.

This rod is MUCH lighter than the one you are looking at, but I'd love to own a 3wt. A fine fishing tool.

I have the 1wt and 2 wt Sage TXL rods. You must cast the rods to appreciate the light weight and crisp action. I traded my SPL rods soon after trying these new designs.

The 3wt may be in the spring time budget.
