I had my left eye done in '97 and my right eye done in '01. Best thing I ever did! No more glasses (I wore bifocals too). I'm now 20/15 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right eye. We tried to adjust the correction for the right eye, which is my dominant eye, so I could read without the need for reading glasses but it was not quite enough so I now read using 1.25 reading glasses. I understand that one can get a bifocal lens implant now. We are fortunate to be living in a time when these miracles of modern medicine are routine!
