    Default Need opinions ...

Any one here use the LLBean Goretex stowaway wading jacket? Looks good, has good reviews, but I'd like to hear from people I know and trust. Hold up through the brush? Breathable? True in size?

    Betty,

The best person you can ask this question to is "Heritage Angler" (Ed Maurer). Just PM him and he will be able to answer your questions on LL Bean Products.

The one called 'Paclite' for $149? If so i don't see how you could go wrong for a couple of reasons. I don't have one but i buy from LL Bean a lot and they always send me a call tag with the item and if i don't like it, i just send it back....even after using the item for a while. They've never asked any questions and have always either replaced the item if requested or credited my account. Also, because i use the LL Bean credit card i get free shipping and points too. In other words, buy it you like it but if'n you don't, they'll refund you happily.

    Cheers,

    Betty,

here I thought I'd have a chance to really expound on some subjects, but Nooooooooo. Betty wants specific opinions. Just so you know, LL Bean is a great company that really stands behind their products. If you don't like it, they take it back, no problem. We buy stuff from them a lot.

    REE,
I've never stood in the way of your expounding espousals. My request for opined opinions is merely a preliminary position of remedial ruminating .

Hi Betty - PM sent. FWIW, I haven't heard about the Paclite being "moose proof", and I'm too chicken to put it to the test.

    Maybe this will help.

Snakes aren't too bad ... if there's ONLY one and I know EXACTLY where it is! Bears? did you see the post by kglissmeyer with the bears? Who'd be afraid of them? Now, mountain lions ... that's something all together different!!
