    Default Really bad weekend!

Hi Guys sorry to rant but My father in Law has now been diagnosed with Lymphatic cancer. He has been unwell for a long time and at least now we know what the problem is. He starts Chemopherapy on Wednesday and the docs think he at least has some chance of recovery if the treatment doesn't kill him!
Went fishing on Sunday to help clear my head and broke the tip section of my Sage RPL, my favourite rod, an oldie but a goody. Sometimes even fishing doesn't help!
I hope everyone else had a better weekend.
    All the best.
    Mike.

    Mike,
All of you are in my prayers. You are welcome to the pick of any of my rods though they aren't that sweet Sage of yours. Going to stay positive for your father-in-law here.

Mike, sorry to hear of your misfortunes. The struggles of life can truly wear us down and a day on the water can really make a difference. Prayers for you Father-in-law, may he be equal to this task.
My favorite rod is my Sage 5wt RPL and it really came through Saturday last. Go check out the Dad and Kid 2010 report and see if that helps cheer you up a bit. Hope so. Hang in there and keep the faith.

    Hi Mike,

Very sorry to hear about both sources of your bad weekend. Sometimes you just can't win even when you go fishing. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. 8T
