Riffle Hitch?

I heard two men on a salmon river one day talking about a riffle hitch and i wanted to know how to make these knots. Can any body help me? Please. Thanks

Hey, ... never heard the name in English before ... thanx.

The Hitch is a half hitch one can put on a fly to make it hang out and create a wake on the surface (or just under it).

Well you are very welcome for me being the first to tell you wahat it is in English.
And thank you for showing me how to do this knot this might help me increas my salmon catch ate on the humber from zero to mabey a rise or even a fish. Thanks agin.

Up on the George River, ... I figure 'bout 80% of the folks use this technique.

Been using the same methode here for a while with some pleasant results
