i also agree with what was in the editorial and i hope there will be future editorials to keep the membership informed on future changes to eliminate all of the negativism of the major update to the forum.
a simple
"dear members, we are going to make a major update of the fly pattern archive. it may takes us a couple of days to accomplish this so please be patient. it will be a major improvement that youll be proud of."

Or the changes could be made during the summers peak fishing season, and most wouldn't even notice!! Just not during the winter shack nasties where people are looking for something to beatch about!!
