    Good deal:

Sounds like from the PMs the last few days, some have been showing up.

I'm strictly a "warm water" guy.

Ended up with an even 40 out and 24 states represented.

Mine also arrived. Too bad I can't harvest the ones on my deck, the average armspan of an NBA player way from where I now sit. Bushy bastards, to say the least. Should be with all of the sunflower seeds they take from my feeder! Thanks Hidehunter. Lovely flies should come from these tails, especially gray. I'll be sending you a couple of flies for your generosity. JGW

Got the tails. Thanks again. Just another example of the invaluable nature of this site.

    HH,
I'm hoping there will be a "4th Annual"...

I don't need tails now, but might be in need a year from now.
I have a "local" red fox squirrel tail from a guy in our fishing club that has since passed away, and a store bought gray squirrel tail right now.

The gray squirrel tail fur is significantly shorter than the red fox squirrel tail fur. Is this typical?

Not in my neck of the woods , Dave.
