Welll, here in Philadelphia it's snowing, thundering and lightening all at the same time! Sounds like BWO weather!

Calling flyfishing a hobby is like calling brain surgery a job.

Got a 'Blizzard Warning' here in Westmoreland Co...
...as if the 20" from last weekend weren't warning enough.
I just heard on TV that there has been some thunder reported in Lancaster PA county as well.
I never heard it over the drone of my snowblower - trying to keep ahead of the forecast of 18" of snow today on top of the 19" we got a couple days ago. That's not too bad, but now look out for the wind -- that'll keep the BWO's on the water longer though you know.
John
We dodged this one - only about 10" today but we got the wind and drifts are bad. Hope you all stay safe.
Regards,
Scott
the only time i've seen and heard that, the sky was an evil yellow as well. i was driving 4 children home from skating practice in February, and a sudden storm blew up--guess this was long enough ago that such things could happen! anyway, truly frightening.snowing, thundering and lightening
hope everyone is safe tonight!
fly fishing and baseball share a totally deceptive simplicity; that's why they can both be lifelong pursuits.
It gave me the chance to refill the fly boxes, though! If we get another storm, I'll need to run out for milk, bread, eggs, hooks, and more boxes.
The most valuable thing I've learned about fly fishing is just how little I really know.

If you do loose power and it restored, remember to send a thanks to the linemen in your area, they dont get to run for cover during these outage, if you do see them in your area cookie and something warm to drink will make thier jobs easier with a big thank you to warm thier hearts. You can also send or call you local power utility to pass on thanks for the thankless job they do
