Now I understand why banks in China do not accept signatures signed using
ball point pens. They have a good reason for that.
If you pay your bills by check, then you need to watch this
film. This is VERY interesting and you need to go get a Uni-Ball 207 pen!!!!

Wal-Mart and Office Depot have them. They are marked "Helps prevent check
fraud" on the packaging.

An even better idea is to omit writing checks altogether. Most banks offer free bill pay. Not only do you not have to worry about "washing" but there is NO postage needed. You can pay a person or a company right at your computer keyboard. SUPER convenient. One such bank is Bank of America and I'm sure most banks offer this service. I haven't written a check in a few years.
