Curious as to what hook you guys are using for damsel fly nymphs.

Dead fish don't make reel music.
I always seem to have luck with an olive wooly bugger in size 8,10,or 12, and just add brass keychain eyes. The only real trick is that I use fluff from an olive dyed ringneck instead of marabou.
The weight keeps it on the bottom, the eyes make it run hook point up, and the added bit of flash seems to act as an attractant.
I'll making this seasons set right now and I'll post up a pic real soon.
It's.....Just....A.....Stick...!!
I use Ward Bean's marabou damsel on a Mustad 9672, size 10. (New model number is R73 I believe) I also tried some on a curved caddis hook and furled extended body, but haven't got them wet yet! The FEB gives it a nice slender overall look, for sure.
I generally use a #6-#10 streamer hook, 3x long.

I use a DaiRiki 125 Emerger hook in a size 12 and tie an extended body off the back for maximum motion on the retrieve. Similar to Shane Stalcup's Ultra Damsel. Here's a picture of the tied bug:
And here's a pic of the real thing:
Pretty good looking bug!

I like Randall Kaufmann's Marabou Damsel; here's one modified to incorporate chenille eyes:

Haven't tried this version, but the original has worked well for me; real simple to tie.

Tony, I finally found the recipe with some decent photos on-line at this address, check it out.

I make my own extended bodies out of tubing by inserting the tail material and then clamping the material in forceps and heating the forceps over a flame to set the desired ridges in the flattened body.
I also use a size #12 DaiRiki 125 for the hook, and I don't use epoxy, rather dub the thorax before pulling the shellback over the top.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Kelly!

Scud hook here.
Not much to look at dry:
But wet, it has tons of movement like the real thing.
