Good news, at least for the time being. And it looks like a lot of Canadians who could benefit economically by development are opposed to it.

That's good news; the Flathead is a treasure and needs all the friends it can get. Unfortunately, it looks like Rock Creek's under attack again:

I didn't see the paper on Sunday and just heard about the Rock Creek area site yesterday. Thanks for posting the link. Much better information than what I had heard, and much worse news since the proposed mine site is closer to Rock Creek than I thought.
