Decoy anchor tethers.

Tying up newspaper? They are relatively strong so im sure you can find something to do with them.

We have 5 cats and they think back-yard 'cat fishing' is great sport.
I use a big 'bob' fly of colorful bucktail and saddlehackle but sometimes the cats will go for the line instead.
It pays to use an old one
