Invisible Option?

I have selected the option that states...."invisible option will remove you from the Currently Active List"

But it doesn't. It still shows me as being on the board but my name is in black and has an asterisk. How "invisible" is this? Not much.....

I may not be shown as "active" but it is certainly not invisible...which is what my understanding of the option would be.

So it is not useful to me. It is not making me invisible.....

I wish to be totally invisible when I am on the website.....

Is there a way to do this? Or does this option just not work like it is supposed to?

Or is it working exackery like FAOL wants it to function?

As of the time of this post, you do not show up on my list. I think that you will still show on your list with the asterisk so you know you are in invisible mode.

Thanks for the help. Didn't think of it that way. It is only showing to me, and that is a good thing. I can tell my status by looking at the active list.

P.S. I am only doing this because of computer problems. I have been fighting my computer for soooooo many hours the last two months. Now I have gone to a different website and NOW start receiving unwanted messages. I do not normally get unwanted messages. So it is quite annoying to get them in the first place...but due to having something wrong with my computer and working and wasting so many hours on it....I am now extremely gun shy about receiving any message I do not know who it is from. Highly concerned about virus's.

You will show up on your list (with an asterisk) but on no one elses, except for the admin/moderator folks.
