    Default Red Paper wasp

    A durable fly that would hold up to a day of fishing and still look good sitting on my fly bench.

    Son of a biscuit eating basketball player! My wife would be freaking out and squirting that with wasp killer spray.

    I can't see your fly, a wasp landed on it.
    Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.

    Thanks guys . The wasp is tied with deerhair , thread , monofilement for the legs. The wings are made from plastic sheeting with hackle stems for the veins . Very tough fly.
    thanks again, Fred

    Bet it was hard sticking the hook through that wasp without getting stung.

    Beautiful dressing. Would be interested in a materials list as well.

    As cold as death;
    Never thirsty, ever drinking,
    All in mail never clinking.

    I was thinking the very same thing. I think this borders on bait!
