dyed water?
The TWRA (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency) has started their winter stocking program. 
And the city pond of Lafayette, where I grew up, is on the list. But, the pond has been dyed a really dark color of blue. They do this to keep the sunlight from reaching the bottom, thus keeping down the pond scum and algea that will grow, and to make it a pretty blue color. 
Does anyone know if that will affect trout? It's not suppose to affect warmwater fish, but I'm curiouse if there will be any affect on the oxygen level of the water?
I can't wait for them to stock it, but I am really concerned about the safety of fishing the pond. There is a road all the way around it and in most places, there is less than 5 feet between the road and the water. Going to make backcasts tough and I don't want to change my name to hungNcar!!
