    Default Silk wrapping colors

If you were to try to "match" the silk thread/color Granger Green, and the Belding Corticelli "parakeet" wasn't available, would you say the YLI #236 or the #247 would be the closest match?

    this would be granger green

Betty, is that yours or Gypsy's?
The green I had for the one i am building is more Pea Soup Green, but it is a cool color and looked good on the rod.
I have a bunch of YLI silk for flies, so that is what I am going through on the blanks
This is the old man's with a kind of Gold Silk and a garnet.

    Joni,
That's one of Gypsy's rods. I put it there so people could see the color. Talk about incredible rod work! Wow!!
I really want to do at least one of my fiberglass blanks with that color and a Lemke reel seat!!
