The green I had for the one i am building is more Pea Soup Green, but it is a cool color and looked good on the rod.
I have a bunch of YLI silk for flies, so that is what I am going through on the blanks
This is the old man's with a kind of Gold Silk and a garnet.

That's one of Gypsy's rods. I put it there so people could see the color. Talk about incredible rod work! Wow!!
I really want to do at least one of my fiberglass blanks with that color and a Lemke reel seat!!
